Stock Photos are low cost images resold in large numbers for the public to use on your commercial or non-commercial work without any requirement to have any copyright information displayed with the photo. Oftern the images are of Landscapes, Objects and Art. Royalty Free Images are images that do not have any visible copyright information or requirement to display any information regarding the image on your final work but can become more expensive as the quality and size of the image increases. Here at ProfessionalFoto.com we give photographers the option to sell their images how they want and at a price they set, giving them a fair deal for their hard work.
What format are the photos in & how can I change them?
All ProfessionalFoto.com photos are downloadable in a High Quality JPG format. To resize an image you will need a copy of some editing software, for example Macromedia Fireworks or Adobe Photoshop, to resave your image to its final exact size and quality. You can also change its format then as well to a GIF, PNG, or other popular image formats depending on its use or editing software.
Do I need to Purchase a Subscription to download photos?
No, you do not need to purchase a subscription to download photos from ProfessionalFoto.com. Each image has up to 4 different quality download types of different resolutions and can be bought separately without needing to pay any monthly fees.
Do you add photos on a regular basis?
Yes, our network of Professional High Quality Photographers adds photos as they are taken. Click on "Newest Photos" to see the latest photos that have been posted by them or click on "Most Popular Pictures" for the best of the best.
Can I submit photos to sell?
Yes, if you are a Professional Photographer or just a passionate amateur photographer you can apply to sell your photos by clicking on the link "Signup Now" in the bottom left corner. Once accepted you will be able to upload for photos for approval before they go live on ProfessionalFoto.com.
Are there any restrictions on my use of photos that I download?
Yes. While ProfessionalFoto.com offers great freedoms and a wide ranges of uses, we do not allow the redistribution of our photos in anyway. You are allowed to use all images for commercial and non-commercial uses except the use of our photos within products that are mass distributed in any type of archive format or website template to others. If I purchase a subscription are there any other fees I will encounter when downloading from the site?
No, our membership packages allow you full access to download any photos on our site at no extra charge untill you reach your download limit. This is ideal if you are a web designer or graphic designer who needs photos instantly and frequently.
Is account sharing allowed?
No, sharing an account is no different than distributing our materials to others. Individual accounts must be purchased by your friends and colleagues. We do however allow accounts for businesses but when signing up, 'Full Name' must be entered as the Company name along with a main contact email address within the business of a member of staff.
Do you offer refunds?
Once your purchase is made we cannot unfortunately offer any refund. The reason for this policy is because we offer full access to our entire digital collection of photos and, as such, there is no way for our products to be returned without knowing all copies have been destroyed. On rare occasions we will make some exceptions on a case by case basis but please contact us if you are having any issues and we will try to help.
I bought a subscription, but it says I'm not active? What do I do?
On rare occasions our merchant processors may not send the information of your transaction to our system, so your account may not be automatically activated. Therefore, if you have made a purchase of our yearly or monthly subscription and you are not able to access photos from ProfessionalFoto.com using your details, please send a support request and we will enable your account after checking the status of your subscription.
